European Vacation- Milan

From cold and rainy Interlaken we headed to warm, sunny Milan.  I had been to Italy before but never to Milan.  It was amazing!  Three words sum up our visit to Milan: shopping, food, and Madonna.  The girls and I spent our days shopping and eating, and we were lucky to get to go see the one and only Madonna one night.  Madonna + Italy = AMAZING!  Madonna and her dancers are so talented, and she is one hot mama!  In addition to our non-stop shopping and concert going, we were able to see beautiful architecture, the gigantic Duomo, and we ate mouth-watering food.  Here are some pictures that capture our Italian experience...

Have you ever been to Milan?

European Vacation- Interlaken

In addition to Prague, my other favorite destination on this trip was Interlaken, Switzerland.  It is probably the most beautiful place I have every been in my life!  It was cold and sometimes rainy when we were there, but it still looked absolutely breathtaking.  Interlaken is the spot for extreme sports- sky diving, bungee jumping, canyoning, hiking, rafting, biking, etc.  Due to the weather, our activities were restricted but the girls still managed to jump from a helicopter.  No way I was jumping!!!!  The other thing I loved about Interlaken were all the amazing flowers.  They were bold and bright and we saw them everywhere!  Here are some fabulous pictures form one of my new favorite places...
Don't miss out on this amazing place... Go to Interlaken!!!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday.  I am so thankful to have such an amazing, cool, supportive, and fun mom. I can honestly say she is one of my best friends.  How lucky am I?!  I love you, Mom!

European Vacation- Munich

From Prague we went to Munich.  I wasn't extremely excited about Munich but it turned out to be awesome!  The first night we went to a great Biergarten to watch soccer and celebrate on of the girl's birthdays.  Many, many beers later we had all had a great time!  The next day, we went to the Hofbrauhaus for some more beer and to see the famous bierhaus.  The last major thing we did in Munich was go to the Dachau Concentration Camp.  Wow, what a sobering experience.  Although it was depressing and very somber, I am so glad I got to see this important part of history.  It was the only time of the whole trip where the girls and I said very little and simply took in all we saw.  The pictures are intense, as was the experience, but it was definitely worth it.  Here are some pictures from our adventures in Munich...
