European Vacation- Barcelona

Last stop... BARCELONA!  After two and a half weeks we arrived in Barcelona.  This was my first time in Spain and I loved it!  Although I was nervous after hearing about how careful we needed to be, we were very excited to go out and explore.  In Barcelona, we saw the La Sagrada Familia church, ate amazing food (Paella), went to the coolest outdoor food market I have ever seen (Mercat de La Boquiera), strolled along Las Rambles, saw spectacular flowers, did more shopping, and got to see some amazing Antoni Gaudi architecture.  Barcelona was a success and I hope to go back one day.  When I return, you will find me on the beach!  Enjoy the pictures of this amazing city- particularly the food market and an amazing Espadrille store I found called La Manual Alpargatera...
Any Barcelona fans out there?!

  1. I LOVE this city too! I studied abroad there in college to get the first two of three Spanish credits I needed. I had the best time and learned just enough Spanish to pass the next class at Baylor, ha! I was there 6 weeks and would love to go back! Amsterdam and Prague are also a few of my favorite places {went there back in high school with a school trip so a bunch of my friends went as well, so its been a while but I have great memories over there}. Glad you had a great trip! It's been so fun hearing of your travels!
